Haunting. Beautiful. Tragic. Redeeming.

Such a beautiful tribute. The haunting music truly expresses how so many of us feel right now. Thank you for sharing this.
Thank you. You write fine shows. And you gave us a fine tribute to these victims of violence. Time heals, and so does Art. We are grateful.

All over the world we are praying for these babies, adults , families and loved ones. God bless them, and keep them safe. I simply cannot begin to comprehend this terrible slaying.

What an amazingly beautiful way to remember the names of the lost.
Thank you so much for sharing your art, Jason. Your music bridges the speechless gaps in our hearts.

I have no words to say other than beautiful.
Thank you for your generosity of spirit in giving us yet another way to listen and pay tribute, to honor, to open our hearts and most importantly to send love. Courageous, beautiful, full of grace. Thank you.
There were actually 27 victims that day. Nancy Lanza was the first victim, shot and killed in her home before the killer went to the school. She deserves as much tribute, mourning and outrage as the others.
This was amazing. Beautifully done. Thank you.
This music is a beautiful expression of what is truly in our hearts. Thank you.
How incredibly beautiful are the names of these sweet angels…and how appropriate that you would put them to song. Thank you for such a loving tribute.
Thank you Jason for this touching elegy. I’m so sorry it was necessary.
Music is the universal language of love and healing. Thank-you for this, very beautiful and moving.
As an elementary school music teacher the first thing that struck me was your opening interval, that infamous “so-mi”—what we are taught is the fundamental interval of childhood. What a beautiful tribute to these young lives lost too soon.
This is a wonderful way to remember these fallen angels… thank you for using your talent in such a magnificent way!
Goodbye little butterflies….your time was brief, your absence is but grief….
May your martyrdom be the beginning of our absolute condemnation of weapons of mass murder in our society. That your deaths be not in vain.
Little snowflakes thawed upon our bleeding hearts…we bid you farewell and promise to forever fight in your memory. Your price was the ultimate one that makes it unforgivable and indefensible to excuse the traders who deal in death and murder for their profits.
Our hearts forever sing you a lullaby of tenderness and love. Blessed are the children….blessed are the children…..
Thank you, Mr. Brown. Thank you.
There is such power in a name spoken out loud. Thank you.
Thank you for this moving piece, Jason. Devon and I listening together and shared our tears and our grief.
Please, everyone who has commented here, everyone who would read these words, the tributes and the flowers and the vigils are meaningless without action. Please, find your congressman’s and senator’s e-mail address, or phone number and write or call demanding comprehensive gun control legislation now. Tears alone will not prevent this from happening again.
Bless you, Jason, from a past friend in early 90s. You have touched my heart.
Jason,
I can’t stop crying, but it’s a catharsis that we need. Thank you for this beautiful gift. At the right time, I hope the families are able to listen to this heartfelt memorial.
Noelle Donfeld
Thankyou for sharing your gift. May it release the gift of grief that must not remain bottled up.
The tears I finally can shed for all those dear children and adults. Hug a child today-more than once. Thank you, Jason.
I needed to hear their names. Thank you for taking the time to make this.
Heartbreakingly beautiful. My emotional dam burst. Thanks!!!!!

This is a sacred gift. Thank you Jason for your open heart, your tenderness and your loving devotion to each of these souls. Your ability to see thru this horrific, violent act into what these spirits truly need right now as they pass is extraordinary. Your unwavering focus to reach across and sing these blessed souls safe is profoundly correct and full of grace. I commend you for being brave and kind enough to create this healing song for all of us. Thank you from the center of my heart.
You have a beautiful heart, Jason. Thank you for honoring and lifting each of these souls through your healing music. May angels lead them into Paradise.

A heart-gripping, breath-catching tribute to too many lost too soon. I weep as I wish you never had reason to record this. I wish it were a shorter piece. I wish it didn’t exist at all. Yet, you bless so many with your music. Thank you.

From Asia with love.
Shattered, overcome with sadness. These names remembered.Thank you Jason.
Very well done.
I too have been a fan, Mr. Brown, but this forever endears you to me. It is the only time I remember bursting into tears listening to a song. God bless you.
Grateful. . . In the midst of the pain and darkness surrounding this, the human spirit shines a light on all the love that exists in the world, and the world collectively reaches out with pure grace.
No words can express the sadness and loss we all feel right now. It is terrifying. I cannot stand to look at Christmas trees without thinking of the families..brings tears to my eyes. I work in a school, and it makes it hard to go to work!!! We HAVE to do something…. we are losing control!!!
Jason – What a stunning and beautiful tribute. I am humbled by this musical prayer. Shalom.
This is a simple and loving tribute. Pax aeterna.
This is profoundly beautiful. Thank you.
A beautiful tribute… tears help during times like this… Thank you….

Thank you so much.
A healing gesture to the world. What a gift.
I can’t stop thinking of these babies. It is probably the single event that has changed me in my 48 years of life. I continue to pray for the families. I just pour out my prayers for them. Thank you for the lovely song in their memory.
Thank you, Jason. We are all so broken over this, and I know that music can only help. I sat here quietly weeping as I listened to your song, and thought of these beautiful Angels. I don’t know how their families will survive this, but I will be sending all of my love and prayers to them. I wish I had a gift like you, that could bring so much healing.
My sentiments were expressed by Mary-Pat Green #18 above. God was waiting for them and swept them into his arms.
Beautiful, thank you.
Very touching, with tears in my eyes I thank you.
Just beautiful!!
Simple and breathtaking. Thank you.
Thank you! Beautifully done! So breathtaking and such a beautiful tribute!
There is indeed beauty in this world as my heart aches. God bless.
Song helps us to remember names, lyrics. I will sing this song and remember these Angels in Heaven. Thank you from a Mom whose heart is aching.
It is important we remember them as real, living people with names and faces; this song commemorates them in such a way that they are no longer just part of an awful statistic; they are immortalized in a loving and beautiful way….into the Lord’s arms where their pain is past…I hope this gives even one iota of comfort to their families…but I cannot imagine anything can right now…we all just need to mourn before we can hope for a better day…and pray that this incident is finally the catalyst for the change that can one day save others …Thank you, Mr. Brown…
Thank You and God Bless you always!
Feeling very lucky to be alive, even if it is to grieve.
Thank you… so beautiful.
Truly a worthy tribute. God has blessed you with your talents and you have blessed us all. Prays of healing and peace for our nation and the world.
Sherri Ryan Hodges.
Thank you. I thank you for singing their names, for letting us hear them in such a graceful and loving tribute.
Fabulous song! Jason, you are wonderful and so heartfelt.
Thank you for your compassion. This is touching, and beautiful.
What a touching song. We will never forget them. A beautiful song.
Those little angels are up in Heaven. God will give them a wonderful gift wrapped in gold and silver and will contain a beautiful, tiny pair of wings.
Thank you for writing such a beautiful tribute. As a music teacher in a school K-4, I appreciate your tribute more than you’ll ever know. Thoughts have haunted all of us in the teaching field of our response and how much we feel for the Newtown community. It is an awesome responsibility we have every day, but it is one that is precious and part of our calling as professional teachers. Thank you…
Thank you for remembering every one of those angels. Our arms are indeed wrapped around them.
Wow, that was beautiful!
What was a beautiful tribute. Thank you.
Jason,
A heartfelt ‘thank you’ for a touching tribute musically saying what’s in our hearts!
Love , Diana
Jason — what you have done is beyond words. It is a beautiful tribute to an otherwise horrific event. May your talents aid those who hurt the most. Thank you for sharing.
I didn’t realize that I stopped breathing as you were singing your tribute. Your song has immortalized these beautiful innocent little ones and the adults who tried to protect them. Your music helps to soothe our broken hearts. Hold tight to your families and always tell them you love them.
words cannot describe how beautiful and heart felt this is….
We sing when we cannot express ourself through speech
such a beautiful tribute thank you for sharing this…..
There are actually 27 names. I feel bad that Nancy Lanza is left out of many memoriams; was it really her fault that her son took her life. Is there a reason that you’ve left her from your tribute?
May they never be forgotten, may their loss, their innocence and courage help us shape a better future.
