I wrote a song in 2010 to celebrate the fact that Georgia Stitt and I had, at that point, made it through ten years of our relationship. Today marks our 15th wedding anniversary (so we’ve been together for eighteen years now…!). Everything I wrote in the song back then is even truer now – we survive and thrive because we are held up by an extraordinary community of friends and family and musicians and actors and school parents and teachers and babysitters and assistants and agents and lawyers and dogwalkers and, maybe most importantly, spirits from the heavens watching over us. I am so grateful for them and for the incredible woman who chose to share this crazy life with me.
I wish you all as much love as we have been blessed to receive from each other and from you.

Was fortunate enough to be at this concert. Jason never disappoints, have been a fan forever and met him at Birdland and in the Berkshires. Hope to be following him as he celebrates his 30th anniversary and many more.
I remember loving this song the first time I heard it — at the performance in this video, in fact. In April of 2011, I was a month into my relationship with the woman that I married this past weekend.
I have a much clearer understanding of this song now. Thanks for the very timely share.
