The fine folks at SheetMusicDirect.com have made 14 songs from The Bridges of Madison County available for immediate digital download. All the songs have been arranged and edited by me for solo performances and audition use, with new shiny piano arrangements that I created just for this folio. Click on the links below and you’ll go right to the SheetMusicDirect page for that particular song.
What Do You Call A Man Like That?
Before and After You / One Second and a Million Miles
Coming later this fall: a printed vocal selections folio (featuring twelve of the songs listed here) and the full piano/vocal score!
Happy musical explorations!

Jason –
I’m so glad to hear there will be a full PV score available for purchase. That is a rarity and something that I think should happen more often. I’m curious what led to that decision.

[FROM JRB: I insisted on it!]
A full vocal score so quickly! Wow! Good for you! It usually takes years and years for that to happen these days.
How wonderful to have a full piano/vocal score–any thoughts of doing so for other shows of yours? I’d buy one for Parade in a heartbeat.
Which two songs will not be in the folio?
[FROM JRB: I believe that “Something From a Dream” and “Look at Me” got the ax for the folio.]
Does “What Do You Call a Man Like That?” contain Robert’s little bit? I’d love to finish the phrase and use that for an audition cut!
[FROM JRB: Robert doesn’t sing in “What Do You Call…” – do you mean “Look At Me”? That DOES contain Robert’s bit.
Unfortunately the music isn’t available in Australia yet through Sheet Music Direct. But, MusicNotes is slowly making available all the titles. I think we’re up to 9 songs available today.
We’ve got the pre-order for the folio online and have several orders already!! Join the list and get it mailed directly to you from the publisher the second it is ready!

Such beautiful music!!
This is so great news, I’ve been waiting for the sheet music since I first heard the music. Rushed to sheetmusicdirect but they won’t let me buy it! 🙁 Due to “copyright restrictions the items are not available in my region” (Sweden). What to do? Can I get the sheet music some other way?
[FROM JRB: Sorry, Linnea, this stuff is out of my hands – I’ll let Hal Leonard know that they should hurry up and get it out in Sweden!]
Fantastic news that this music is available to play, I absolutely adore this show! Just wondering, will the full piano/ vocal score include the chords that the current sheet music has? Thank you so much for your insistence on this and your beautiful musicals!
[FROM JRB: The full score is still being edited, and we haven’t decided about chords – there certainly won’t be as many of them as there are in the vocal selections, but I suspect there will be plenty, particularly for the guitar-heavy songs.]
Thank you for your gifts, Jason!!! Keep ’em coming!!
Jason!
I have the same problem with Linnea.
Please make your beautiful songs available in Japan, too.
I am looking to sing one of these songs at a performance, but I love all the music and would love to have the full score, so I am wondering: when (about) will the folio be released? I’m trying to figure out if it will come in time for me to use for the performance…
Thank you so much!
[FROM JRB: Hello, Genevieve! The printed vocal selections folio is due to be released in November (I think?) – the full vocal score probably not until some time in 2015.]
I love you. Come back to Western Carolina University!
Thank you for your beautiful work!
So happy to read this!!
This is so amazing! I already bought some songs in musicnotes and I’m already singing them! And it’s great that the full piano/vocal score will be published too! Will the libretto be published too? That would be great! Thank you!
