You remember last week when I told you we needed to get people into the theater NOW, so we were offering $25 tickets? (If you don’t, click here for details.)
Well, we’ve gotten an unbelievable response, but we’re still trying to make those weeknight shows a little fuller, so I offered to do a special event for three performances next week – and it still only costs $25 a ticket!
After the 7 pm performances on October 21, 22, and 23, I’ll take the stage of the Jacobs Theatre with a couple of the amazing cast members, our casting director Mark Simon, and some other folks on the creative team, and we’ll take your questions, and I’ll sing some stuff that was cut from the show, and generally mayhem will ensue. It will be a lot of fun, and it’ll be our own private party to thank you for coming out mid-week to see our wonderful show.
Now just to be clear, for all your parents out there:
1. The show starts at 7 pm.
2. The show lasts 93 minutes, so if you choose not to stay for the talkback, you’re home (or at least out of the city) by 9 pm. Tops.
3. The talkback itself is about an hour. So if you stay for that, home by 10. Not bad for a school night, since the kids are on Facebook until 3 in the morning anyway, and you know it.
So hey, go buy them tickets! I’ll see you next week at the show! And really, I promise, as long as the question isn’t offensive to the kids, I’ll answer it (unless we run out of time).
Rock on, people, and thanks so much for supporting our show, 13!
