Today, Betsy Wolfe and Adam Kantor and I finished staging the show. Now the hard work begins: defining the pace, the nuance, the size, and the real detail of these characters and their relationship. Getting to hear this cast in rehearsal every day is such a joy. You’ll see – previews start in three weeks!
Here’s more footage of Adam and Betsy singing their asses off (and this was before rehearsals even started!), with me playing the piano and Gary on the guitar.

Wow beautiful. I cried on the train. This is so brilliant! I would love to se more fotage of repetitions involving such mastery, being a student of musicaltheatre.
Terrific!!! So excited to see this in March!! I don’t know how I missed it the first time around but I won’t miss it this time!!!
Wow, I am SO excited that this brilliant show finally gets a Broadway revival! I will be there at the first preview, a-hootin’ and a-hollerin’ from the bleachers. I saw a semi-professional production in Melbourne, Australia about 7 years ago and have been hooked on the score ever since. My show-tune-lovin’ friends and I stand aroudn the piano on our days off and sing through the score. Jason, you are a god-master-genius and every one of your shows deserves to be revived ad nauseum in perpetuity until the world has had enough and you are a gazillionaire! Parade, 13, L5Y and bring it on, Honeymoon in Vegas! (OK, I;ll stop now – beginnng to gush just a little too much).
