Melburnians come ready to party, y’all. That was some festive audience we had tonight! I had a fantastic time (with the exception of a very unpleasant piano), and Rachael Beck sang so beautifully – looking forward to the rest of this Aussie tour. Audiences in Adelaide, Perth, Sydney and Brisbane have a lot to live up to!

Hey Jason,
Thoroughly enjoyed your performance last night at the National Theatre. You were amazing as always! And Rachael was beautiful on stage with you. Thank you for sharing Caravan of Angels with us. That was such a stunning song for Georgia – who I met during interval. She is gorgeous!
Good luck with the rest of the tour! I am sure the rest of Australia will enjoy your music as much as we do in Melbourne! 🙂
You were so amazing!
Thanks for inspiring me with your music. Such a good night! You are a classic entertainer with a flawless performance.
Hi Jason, loved the show last night! The audience was really enthusiastic to see you in Melbourne and I hope the rest of Australia treats you with the same level of excitement!
Thanks so much for posting this set list. I was trying to remember everything to blog about it, but in the end I found the info here!
Enjoy the rest of your visit here.
Hi Jason,
Congratulations on a spectacular show on Monday night in Melbourne at our National Theatre. I knew I loved your music on when I heard it on CD, and in the many live performances of theatre companies recreating your music and telling your stories, however I didn’t realise just how much more I could love your music when I heard it performed live.
The amazing way you take your audience with you on a journey, your gift for storytelling and the passion you imbue into your music is beyond brilliant.
I was wondering if there was any chance of a DVD and/or CD recording of your concert being released? I would love to be able to relive it all over again, as I am sure many others would also.
Best of luck for the rest of your tour – I hope the rest of Australia loves you as much as Melbourne does.
All the best.
[FROM JRB: Hey TT, thanks for the kind words. There are no immediate plans to record my concerts with Rachael, but I am planning to record several of my concerts later this year for a DVD release in the fall, knock wood. So keep your eye on this space for more information!]
Hi Jason,
Thank you for coming to Melbourne and sharing your songs, talent and expertise, both at the concert and at the workshop at VCA. It was brilliant to hear you talk about the audition process and also the back stories of your songs. I also wanted to thank you for taking the time to chat with me at the end of the workshop – it was a very full night and I am thankful for your encouragement and thoughts! Enjoy the rest of Australia! Cheers.
Any chance of posting a preview clip of “Another Life?” … I’m dying to hear it!
[FROM JRB: Watch this space! It’ll be released on a certain someone’s solo album coming soon!]
Hi Jason
Thanks so much for your amazing concert which was food for my soul! I thoroughly enjoyed your Masterclass also, which confirmed so much and made me think about so much more when preparing auditions.
Georgia’s concert last night was fantastic, and I was very upset to have missed her Masterclass!
Thanks so much for coming to Australia again (I journeyed to Adelaide all those years ago and loved that too!). I hope you have a great concert tonight in Sydney and that you have enjoyed your time here.
Come again soon!!
Cheers, Bec
