Hi-ho, neighbors and fellow citizens!
It is Tony Time in New York, when the spring weather finally hits and the whole country seems to pay attention to Broadway for exactly two weeks, so let’s jump on that train posthaste. I am delighted to announce…
THE 2016 SUBCULTURE POST-TONY EXTRAVAGANZA!
On Saturday, June 18 at 8 pm, come down to SubCulture, 45 Bleecker St. in Manhattan, and spend the night with me, my amazing band, and, as my extra-special guests this month, the creators of two of this year’s most exciting new Broadway scores:
Chris Miller and Nathan Tysen, who made their Broadway debut with Tuck Everlasting after writing two fantastic Off-Broadway shows, The Burnt Part Boys and Fugitive Songs…
and
singer/songwriter/rock god Duncan Sheik, who had TWO shows on Broadway this year: his brand-new, white-hot American Psycho and a powerful revival of his groundbreaking Spring Awakening.
We’ll be playing old stuff, new stuff, covers, singalongs, medleys, mashups, reinventions, archival reconstructions, digital deconstructions, rockers, stompers, polkas and mazurkas all night long, with the Legendary Caucasian Rhythm Kings (Gary, Randy, Todd and the return of the almighty Zac Coe) bringing the heat, as ever.
You want tickets? You want more info? I got ya covered: Click this link and miracles will happen.
And take note of the dates for the rest of the summer: July 27 and August 15, we’ve got some amazing things planned for you.
See you June 18 at 8 pm at SubCulture, and Happy Tony Season to you all!
Jason Robert Brown
