It’s time for the final SubCulture show of 2015, and I have wonderful guests and lots of surprises! And TWO shows!
(Forgive the abundance of exclamation points in the following note; I’m just very excited.)
Tomorrow night, NOVEMBER 2, at SubCulture on Bleecker St at 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm:
We’ve got the stars of the tour of The Bridges of Madison County: ELIZABETH STANLEY and ANDREW SAMONSKY, singing with the full original orchestration all crammed on to one teeny stage!
We’ve got ROZZ MOREHEAD, who continues to deny that she starred in Urban Cowboy The Musical with me, and so I’m posting this video of her on Star Search in 1986.
We’ve got one of the stars of Wicked! We’ve got timpani! We’ve got the legendary Caucasian Rhythm Kings (Gary, Randy, Justin and now Benny on drums) with Todd Reynolds and a whole bunch of strings! We’ve got songs I’ve never performed in public, and probably for good reason!
And most importantly, we get to celebrate the end of an amazing year in an amazing space, and I hope you’ll come join us for the party!
Performances are at 7:30 and 9:30 pm – more info is here: http://subculturenewyork.com/artist-residence/, and tickets are still available for the 9:30 pm show!

Are you planning on releasing a solo album anytime soon? There were some songs in the show that I couldn’t find anywhere (iTunes, Spotify, Amazon), so I assume those weren’t recorded, and I would love to see a new album coming up with all of these!
