Broadway By The Bay invited me up last weekend to meet the cast of their upcoming production of “13” and to do a concert and masterclass at the Bayside Performing Arts Center in San Mateo. The masterclass was a lot of fun; six really talented singers (including Riley Costello from the Broadway cast of 13!) doing some beautiful work. And then about 400 people showed up for the concert that night, which was my first concert in the San Francisco area (and it was apparently a big hit with the locals).

All Things In Time
I Could Be In Love With Someone Like You
Long Long Road
No Way Now
She Cries
[I actually had King of the World in the setlist at this point, and after I finished She Cries, I thought, “There’s no way I can get through that song now!” I’ll do it next time I’m in SF, I promise!]
Being A Geek
Nothing In Common
When You Say Vegas
The Old Red Hills of Home/Over
[This is kind of a medley I’ve been doing lately.]
Caravan of Angels
Moving Too Fast
Someone To Fall Back On

Thanks so much to Jim Gardia and Joe Duffy and all the folks at BBB for bringing me out to the Bay Area. I got to see a lot of old friends I haven’t seen in years, and I had a blast working with the BBB folk and also the gang at Music Box Theatre in Walnut Creek. I’ll try to get back there soon!
